- Staub's illustrations add texture, light, and shadow, bringing characters to life in still images.

- She's just "having fun painting them in [her] own stylized way."
Isabelle Staub is a 23-year-old freelance illustrator based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She's also the latest artist to dazzle the internet with her stunning drawings of iconic Disney princesses.
"Ever since I was a young child I was greatly inspired by Disney, so I thought it would be fun to repaint some of my favorite characters in my own style," Staub told INSIDER.
Staub, who describes her art as "stylized realism," also puts her own spin on popular cartoon characters, celebrities, and even Pennywise from "It." But it was drawing Disney princesses that got her through a "serious art block."
"My Disney portraits... hold a special place in my heart... because of how many opportunities came from them going viral," the artist said.
Take a closer look at her stunning illustrations below.
Staub first shared this illustration of Aurora from "Sleeping Beauty" in March.
"I've always loved drawing people and studying anatomy so most of my work involves portraiture," she told INSIDER.

"I have such respect for the original artists who created these characters," Staub said.
Staub, who graduated from Moore College of Art & Design in 2016 with a BFA in illustration, said that studying art history was a huge influence on her work.
"I've known since I was a child that art is what I wanted to pursue in life," the illustrator told INSIDER.
Since her illustrations first went viral, Staub has received a ton of "absolutely incredible" feedback from fans.
"I never in a million years thought my art would be followed by 125,000+ people," the artist said. "It's still so surreal to me, and I'm so thankful for the support I receive."
